Shirlee has a deep love for all of her past and present fur babies. She is taking several memorable escapades with these characters and putting their stories into books for children to learn about their care and how much our extended fur babies add to the love in our family circle.

She is also looking at ways of helping shelters and animals in need through her writing and teaching children the importance of responsible pet ownership and the joys of caring for animals. Shirlee is passionate about helping to spread the message that all animals deserve respect, love, and care. She is also a strong advocate for animal rescue and adoption and hopes her books will encourage everyone to be kind and compassionate toward animals.

ShirLee has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing and a Bachelor's degree in music/communication. She is an Associate Broker in real estate in the residential home market for over twenty-five years. She is happily switching her workload in real estate services to a manageable pace by spending quality time on her writing endeavors. She looks forward to an equally rewarding career as a fun-loving and creative fiction author.
